Hood raised Hip Hop fanatic with a suburban SkaterBoyish twist, blended with a Rock Star vibe on top, would be the best way to describe Tha RAP STAR SKATERBOY aka B-CHILD “Mr Fly As A Bird”! 

His  consistent use of mind boggling metaphors &  catchy, vivid punch lines  have the ability motivate listeners with songs  intended to inspire everyone to wake up everyday, Feelin Lovely bout Yoself (FLY As A Bird). With songs like  “Wake Up Doin Me“ & “Person Into Making Progress” he expresses his acknowledgement of  the importance of “making progress” & “waking up everyday tryin to be the best you that you can be”

Although “Motivatin da Masses” is the drive behind the mission, is ambition & extraordinary songwriting talent, combined with this refusal to be titled, labled, or categorized as anyone or anything besides himself is what has in where he is today ( #FlyAsABird)  Discovering his talent at an adolescent age, while writing & recording for a number of local acts, this Chicago-based EMCEE knew that music was his life, love, passion. Since a teen, he has continued to persue his career collaborating with, as well as songwriting for artists of all genres. Now moving forward to present day, 15+yrs into his career, he now has the ability to write & record a song with any artist of any genre, in a single recording session.

With never being satisfied with his stage act, B-CHILD’s only priority that comes behind the stage is the studio, as he performs regularly across the Midwest, most notable an event sponsor by  the sportswear company “UNDERARMOUR”  the 3rd Rail Jam. In addition to attempting to perfect his performance , he has a studio EP “Where Da Luv At” & a promotional mixtape “FLYASABIRD Tha Mixtape” and he is currently working on his debut studio album “ Mr Fly As A Bird”

The self  pronounced “Mr Fly As A Bird” has collaborated with several musicians, and has executed excellent songwriting, along with blessings many tracks with his seemingly effortless flow on their projects, including the likes of Jive recording artist John Blu,, featured on mixtapes with songs by Souljah Boy, Lil Chuckee of YM, & he has also worked with DJ Scrap Dirty , Violator DJ Coalition Co-founder. To add to his accomplishments, he also owns his own digital music distribution website (FLYASABIRD.com) as well as his own indie record label (FLY AS A BIRD ENT)

As B-CHILD navigates his way through the industry, he continues to give the world doses of himself through his talent, dedication, and humility, setting himself up to be the next acclaimed artist with talent that will allow him to enjoy a long, successful career. While currently working with & teaming up with various artists, he continues to promote his latest single “Wake Up Doin Me” which has been in rotation in the Chicago market. With his metaphor filled, thought stimulating punch lines , his wordplay has proven to be relatable to men & women alike of nearly every age range…
